Don't tease us like that. It's cruel.

Tom Carpenter will resign by taking a swan dive from the ivory tower into the pond. That would be leaving in style!

Give the entire company a test. Anyone not smarter than a 5th grader should be eliminated immediately. HR should take the test too. It's the democratic way. No more learning on the job or hiring consultants to do their jobs. Enough damage is done already. Time to put the derailed train back on its track and rebuild values for the investors.

Maybe he secretly works for Novo?

Gack. He's such a moron. How much do you think he makes? To organize committees, meetings, subcommittees, executive committees... people who have time to go to all those BS meetings obviously do not have a job.

He's just one bad decision after another. But he has the right people snowed - for some reason he survives.

You don't have to resign. Indeed, you can save your job by following some simple survival rules:
    #1 Don't trust anybody
#2 Keep employees you dislike close so you know their every move
#3 You don't have to outrun the problem. You have to outrun your friends
Practice these simple rules and you are on your way to the very top.
