Retirement package

Anyone know who will have option to retire in the first round of layoffs? Will it be offered company-wide or is it just for affected divisions? Asking for a friend...

 

layoff and retirement packages are not offered together

 

VERP (voluntary early retirement package) was offered two years ago I think. Wouldn’t be surprised if they offer it again, ahead of any RIF. Many people within 2 years would take it this time vs two years ago

 

Right they will if they realize that they get the package if their position is eliminated in the subsequent reorg. It always is eliminated

 

Think they will offer both like last time if eligible but not sure who will be offered it

 

The ship has sailed. T3 gone, no VERP was offered and it happened with no warning.
