Research past well coordinated "Pump and Dump" schemes. Most are indeed formed by group of large investors who will use sketchy or over seas financial news media outlets to spread the false rumors (in this case for Pernix it is a buyout).

Most of the better well coordinated "Pump and Dumps" run for several days and can include several spikes up and down in stock price (to make it appear it is not a pump and dump scheme).

Professional investors on Wall Street understand this and often prey on novice amatuer investors who get all "giddy" over a possible life changing score. Often they believe there due diligence on the stock is better than those on Wall Street.

A common denominator of coordinated multiday pump and dump as extreme heavy volume yet no major news or catalyst being reported by well established financial news media outlets. Often novice investors will interpret the heavy volume as "someone on the inside" knows something. That news in a form of a leak has started.

Agree, this company is doomed in debt and no fiscally responsible investor/company will take on this sinking ship! As stated on previous posts, the pain mkt is rapidly contracting and opioid utilization is declining rightfully so! Sleep/Migraine/Pain all can be treated generically and prefered by patients and managed care. Aggressively rebating to pump up sales is not a recipe for success. Mgmnt is trying to salvage whatever they can but the inevitable is rapidly approaching and we will be left behind! Trust me
