Ruud continues to swing the axe!

Another Senior USLT member forced out!

MC struggled to get a grip on the incompetence of those below him. Ruud will chop the next layer of dead weight soon!

Recent decision by Diabetes and CV to add Farxiga to CV bag is yet another example of the ignorance and the incompetence of the leadership team. Farxiga is a "me to" product with no CV outcomes data to speak of. While CV reps will be promoting savings cards and a class effect, cardiologists will begin to get more comfortable with the class effect of the p2y12 inhibitors. Just in time for the generic launch of prasugrel this month. Cardiologists DO NOT manage diabetes meds for their CV patients. Diabetes leadership is ill advised!

What MC should have been doing was cutting $300 MILLION from the CVMD budget, not adding additional resources and spend.

Don't worry, SW is now exposed and will be next on the chopping block. Turds and dead bodies float first before being flushed. At this point "up and out" is the name of the game, as senior leaders claw over one another for survival.

Don't be fooled by the sweet and polite email communications from Ruud, with regard to the forcing out of senior USLT members. He is British and they sound polite even when they are not.

don't stop here go further to the next level of leaders. VP is responsible for hiring these people and now that he is gone the others and their inexperience and incompetence should be clear. none of them should be in a leadership position KC, SD, LF, BR, BF. All made decisions that resulted in lackluster performance

No doubt! Interim VP has made a career of doing nothing, but continues to be rewarded for being at the right place at the right time.

VPs day not get fired, they agree to pursue other career opportunities. He struggled with the culture in Wilmington. Nothing ever got done in a timely manner and decision by committee created bottlenecks. He will do much better within the culture of his new employer.

If there was a "struggle" in Wilmington, it was due to the fact that he did the right thing and demonstrated a high level of character, morals, and ethical values. Never heard a VP do a better, more from the heart talk than at the Vegas CVMD meeting. Goes to show you those even above him, with absolutely no backbone, character, or morals, are human and leadership failures to infinity. AZ cronies don't deserve someone like him. Now you will see CVMD become nothing again with zero vision, zero leadership. If you are unfortunate to work in CVMD, its going in a downward spiral as of now, in a "colossal failure" type of way.

Got news for you- it is already caught in and close to the bottom of this spiral. And it has nothing to do with MC. The game was over as soon as it began for Brilinta. Horrible launch and never regained its' footing. Diabetes is a disaster all unto itself. Good luck CVMD! Good luck AZ!

Completely agree with this post! AZ didn't deserve MC. The cronies below him will bury themselves.

Shit rises before it is flushed. This is a textbook example. There is no one left to sabatage for the interim. Ruud will hold her accountable or else.

She is the darling. Has had more resources and power than anyone else in role and what results did she deliver?
    Huh?
    Exactly!

Failed at everything but still seems to rise to the next level of incompetence. Things that make you go hmmmm?

Somebody, somewhere in the upper leadership has a hard on for her. It is as simple as that. It isn't important that you have ever accomplished anything. It is important that you look good and sound good at the right moments on stage and in meetings. But sooner or later she will be painted in a corner where a consultant or her mentor cannot protect her from accountability. When that happens her sunshine supporters will moon walk from her.
