VP of HR up next. The old one, not the new one.

VP of HR is the position in every company that is reserved for the token minority or female. If you look at the executive team or board of every company in America you will see that 99% of them are mostly white males but if you see a minority or female it is usually the head of HR. That is because most business executives only pay lip service to the diversity diatribe and will give it some token representation but never allow them to run the company or make major strategic decisions.

Who cares how many vp's leave?! It's about time they clean house. Way too top heavy.

Shiiidddd. AZ has NO, I repeat NO C-Suite or VP level minorities. Try again to define this role you speak of. Always the default to tokenism.

So does almost every other stock on the exchange. AZ is the lowest bar. You do realize that Merck was removed from the Dow top 50 and has been sliding downhill for years. How did the diversity push work for them in the long run? Not so well.

The reality is that Merck used to be the leader in Pharma, first in science, first in innovation, and then they started the Barbie and Ken parade that cheapened the sales rep position that led to the catering and free lunch movement. If Merck led in anything, it was the destruction of the sales rep position in the eyes of Physicians.
Their once great reputation and valued sales force is now the same as every other generic on the shelf.
