Salary and roommates? Quick question...

I am thinking about applying for a position with Arbor, what’s the typical salary and bonus expectation for a basic sales job and do you have roommates for initial training and/or sales meetings, etc. Thanks for help!

You want real advice? This is a 100% trash company. You will get a low salary and mediocre bonus. They will try to entice you with stock options that will never actually pay out. Everyone wants to leave.
If you decide to ignore this advice and go to work for Arbor then I wish you all the luck in the world but don’t say you weren’t told the truth.

A basic sales job? 40k. Yes on roommates. It’s seriously bottom of the barrel. It depends on the sales force but all low end for their respective markets.

40k? That can’t possibly be the salary you are referring to!?

 

No one really knows what the salary is for new hires now. That is why you aren't getting an answer. They did a massive lay off in January. They got rid of company cars right before the lay off and left tons of people with no job and a car payment. Now they have every product (except hospital) in everyone's bag. Imagine going through training to learn 8 products! Unless you are unemployed and are about ready to lose your house or something, I recommend you look somewhere else.

Base is around 50k depending on cost of living. Plus reimbursement for your car 350-500, depending on size of territory. Then you get commission. Depending on how purdy is “projecting” his numbers, you’ll make over 65k+ first year.
Keep in mind, wear and tear on your own vehicle. Expensive insurance company requires you to buy. Being tracked like a dog.
It’s not a bad job, but you can do better if you’re on here.
