What's it like working as a Sales Representative at Apria these days? Can you make decent salary, 100k annually? or is it much lower than that?
You need to find out the goal for your territory (KFP points) points on average are worth $20 each and I have seen territories that average 60 points up to 500 points a month. You must hit 85% of goal to get commission so ask how many points the territory is currently producing. The position is salary plus commission with the base ranging anywhere from 35K-66K depending on your experience and what part of the country.
How can you have two employees sitting next to each other a meeting, doing the same job, yet one has a base of 35k and the other has 65k? That doesn't seem right?
That seems right for Apria, although 35k seems a little low for a rep. That might be true for a HAL. When you got hired, if you didn't get in good with the ASM or Market Leader as they call them now, your salary could very well be less than those that came in through a referral or had a previous higher paying position that they were aware of. Favoritism runs rampant, unfair treatment to those who aren't part of the Market Leaders circle is common. Get used to it or get out. The experience you get there isn't worth the time put in either.
$43500 & just when you figure out how to earn commissions they change the point systems, so what was 6 points is now 1 or 0 points!
