What's it like working for Incyte in the field? Is it a good management team? Do you think Novartis or someone will buy you out ?
Its a job. Management is good and bad depends on who you are asking about. Likely that this company will get bought but no one knows when and who.
West coast...wonder how long until buy out? Would be leaving a stable job for this. Not sure if risk is worth it? Could be years though before buyout?
Same frustrations here as you have currently, access issues, unrealistic goals, etc. its an industry problem. A small company is not stable period. A buyout could happen at anytime. A stable job with good benefits, with no looming buyout, only you can decide how much risk you can tolerate. Just like working for big pharma only a small company and not as stable.
If you are just looking at options as to why you will or won't take the job then you should stay where you are.
