GS Move on? BAHAHA! Unmarketable! New title....NOT marketable! For Pete’s sake the guy has no skills outside of BI. He will take what he is slotted and will cry in his pillow that he moved the male servants to positions that he no longer controls! Karma is fantastic

This thread is now closed due to the ironic title of “See Ya Pittsburgh Region”. Hilarious! The original poster had no idea that they have a crystal ball!! Good Riddance Pittsburgh Region

Not the original poster here. But truly interested in this copious thread. 14 pages all about my new CBD? Welcome to the south. We handle things differently down here. Shape up

7 a.m. conference calls. Evening Town Hall meetings 2 hours from your home. Daily busy work that will be expected to be done in the evenings and weekends. NO TOT!! National conference calls will be recorded, and you will be expected to listen to them on your own time while people in other regions get to go home to get on the calls live. And POAs are held at cheap hotels with cheap food. But if you're lucky you'll make it to the newsletter. TBM's are required to "create" fictitious success story every month to get someone nominated for dork-of-the-month. You win a $5 McDonalds gift card that you can use on the evenings and weekends while completing your busy work. Your family is going to miss you!

document document document....Does management really have the stupidity to SAY these things? Better yet if you can capture what you wrote above in writing you have a case.

Sounds to me like someone wants to have a 6 figure + salary without actually having to work hard and learn. Welcome to the real world. If you want to make the money you need to actually excel; i.e, go above and beyond. If you don't want to get up for a 7am call or attend a "voluntary" town hall go work your 9 to 5 job. Having an excellent salary=work, learn, excel. You don't get paid the big bucks to drive to a couple of doctors offices, get some signatures and then do nothing the rest of the day. Please, stop making Pharma reps look bad with your laziness and find something that better suits your 9 to 5 attitude.

That's not what the poster is saying and you know it. It's also taking advantage of a salary employee; with large territories and demands put on us it's easy for management to leech more and more into our personal lives. Abuse can go both ways.

I would not want to work for you. Our hours are 8-5, not 9-5. That's 9 hours a day. We all work in our off hours, but being treated like competent adults who can manage our business and our schedules creates a better culture. Work life balance is important, especially when you have children, and both parents work. This CBD has a housewife - Most of us do not!

I bet your wife has your pipe and slippers ready when you get home. She keeps the children quiet while she heats up your dinner. Does she know how lucky she is to be married to such a successful man?! BI will displace you, or replace you in a heartbeat regardless of your 14-hour days. Work smart, not hard my friend, it's 2020.

We are primary care reps, with old products. Customers don't care. They only want free lunch for their staff. It's your attitude that will get us kicked out of offices. There is only so much that can be done 'in the field" each day. A conference call at 4 will not interfere with productivity. You are delusional.

That's because you choose to live above the means of one 6-figure+ income. Sell your spouse's Bimmer and downsize the McMansion and you'll be amazed how easy it is.
