I highly doubt that “memo” is valid. Typically, companies aren’t going to share details about severance packages in a blanket email.

 

It's slim with the complete details, but the 16 weeks of severance pay is accurate. There was a time that Abbott/Abbvie packages were fantastic, almost a year in severance pay. All that gravy stopped in early 2019. There is a written policy on severances packages available to any employee, just have to ask.

 

I think there’s a LOT of energy being wasted here; NOBODY knows who will be laid off or WHEN or the LENGTH of their severance pay. It’s ALL speculation; so calm TF down and go back to work. Or applying/interviewing, whatever.

 

Pleaseeeeeeeeee all of us current employees know exactly what the severance is it's been on our intranet since June 27th.

 

Maybe so but nobody knows what divisions or who will definitely be affected. So....

 

Can Abbvie hire any of us in GI?

thats what the press release said. Haven't heard from any sales rep though.

 

Little bit of news........announcement will come before the fifteenth of the month, just don't know which month, it's all up to the feds. Very frustrating..............
