Which is funnier and speaks more to the pathetic state DDX is in now?

Chubby head of marketing can not perform a 30 second detail of only product in front of CEO? By the way chubby it is called the plac test.

    Strazza has a job?

Stevie Raye no more than a bobblehead doll you get at a baseball game?

Dino is about to get rocked by his future ex who will take his few $ and his daughter leaving him just his expense account to eat more and more?

Or E) That Benny Hill, the Brit CEO has allowed this team to form under his careful eye.

There will be no IPO. I have hoped for it, but I now know it will not happen with this assembly of no talents and wannabees. I'm out as soon as I get my offer. Good luck PP

Thats so funny. Bill and Christina still friends. You never need look further than the wig wearing Brit when it comes to layoffs. He now has a new yesman assclown Dino to tell him Yes and implement for him.

If you want to know how DDX will fare, go rent the last episode of Benny HIll another simple Brit

Company has been full of crooks from day 1 - I am still here, but with one foot out the door.
    - The board used this as a little "playpen" and nothing else. Except for some people who put in big bucks, the rest were just there to keep an eye on things in case something good happened or to make sure they don't scre up the science. That was the only reason for SmithKline and Incyte to be involved with this dog
    - The CEO was put there as a special pet project of the old guy from GSK who retired long ago (Poste). PP was his pet whipping boy he wanted to mentor and gave him this thing to go play with
    - PP thinks he knows everything about everything, and keeps hoping for miracles. He keeps telling himself (and everyone else) that they are just around the corner. He has burnt over $150 million bucks on this venture.
    - The rest of the team has been a disaster. That marketing woman was a tornado with no marketing skills and even fewer social skills
    - The sales expansion has been so stupid. No one wants to use this test regularly. People will dable once or twice, but that's it. No real clincal reason to use it.
    - Lanman and the others have been trying to make a big story out of nothing. I drank the kool aid in the beginning, but can't be fooled no more.
    - Dino and the rest can't rescue this dog

That sucks but it is great that you took a chance. I am a longtimer with kos was offered but didnt go up lanman trail. I just came back from a national meeting with oscient and i tell you this company really feels great right now.

Everyone is saying the same thing. Right time right place. Reach out to a few and check for yourself then if its right come on over.

Alot of truth to the DDX storyline with Plewman. He continues to make mistakes and miscalculate the future for the PLAc test. It was actually a very good scientific marker that they never were able to get consistent test results from (too much variablity test to test) and forgot you might want to preapre for the managed care plans before you triple the price. Plewman's ignorance paved the way for those 2 defining disasters of proof that you need more than a decent product to be successful. Dino is a joke who has headed up 3 failed companies prior to DDX so good luck with his resume changing.

Wish all of Oscient well but dont think it is similar to KOS or DDx in that there is nothing new or they are meeting any unmet need. Just trying to make a buck off of existing products and a good salesteam. Who knows though

DDX implodes, Dino fails again 4 straight failures. PP is out of money and excuses. No body staying and IPO will never happen. Black Friday for DDX on Memorial Day. couldn't happen to a nicer bunch of so called execs.

Don't blame Dino, he is insignificant. he is just a low rent wannabe who has to take anything he can get and do whatever he is told. I agree he is a creepy person, but as far as business just another never was. Not his fault for failing; its his history.

the real blame lies on the foot of the harvard grad. he skipped the course on common sense and humanity. he hired him and made many other critical mistakes drive DDX into ground. alot of good people go down with a poor captain. PP reaps what he sews. go to bed with a dirty dog PP and wake up itching with flees.

Friday was HUGE!!!! Now get this: (you better sit down first - or better yet, start breathing slowly into a brown paper bag - or best, take a bong hit) -- This past Friday, May 23, 2008 at exactly 7:00pm - almost everybody left the company for the Memorial Day 3-day weekend!!!!! What's absolutely astounding is that these people will likely partake in family BBQ's and then (hold your breath!) return on Tuesday, May 27 at approximately 8-9Am and begin working on selling the FDA's only approved early warning test for heart attack and stroke. OK if you made it this far... you can now remove the brown paper bag from your face our put down the beer bong, weed bong, or meat bong. You doom-and-gloomers can now go back to sleep and awake at your customary 2PM time to search for porn and job opportunities. PS: Dino and Patrick are long and hard on the succe$$ of this awesome company's diagno$tic products!

Alot of koolaid served at your M Day picnic. That was maybe the most stupid paragraph ever written or read. No wonder quality people have left and only garbage is left. Watch out for the iceberg ahead, you are going under. Its hard for a loser to win I guess.

It's really fun to check in on this thread every couple of months, but it's sad to read. I wish things would pan out for the good people at DDX, but there are too few of them to overcome the bad ones. The company still has a lot of promise in it's Intellectual Property, but mistake after mistake in strategy and execution have ruined it's promise. My guess is some biotech will eventually buy them out on the cheap and make something out of it. Until then, DDX could be a "Harvard business case" on how to run a good idea into the ground and waste millions in the process. I'm glad I'm not there any more.
