SARS and Ebola were easier to contain. Their transmitability was less than this virus.

The mortality was higher sure. But a lower patient population and a lower transmission rate means economic damage was at least easier to control with quarantines and containment. There are already people in Arizona at ASU main campus not going to classes to avoid the flu. My girl went to class and there's already a little less than half of the students that didn't show up.
