Was contacted by a recruiter for a position, seems like you are basically a JR rep but the pay is well.

    What is the catch??

Damn, I've been a stroke specialist for YEARS and haven't been paid a dime!

What’s realistic total comp as a stroke specialist?

At $25-50 per; it really depends on how many you can knock off each day.

I guess it depends on the market, but if you’re attractive and pretty good with your hands, $25-$50 seems low. I think $1000 per day is totally doable in a major metropolitan area.

is this straight commission and saying the average selling price is that low?

I guess you could call it commission. A good Stroke Specialist sets pricing based on their level of experience and aesthetic performance. If you’re will to work for it, you can get a big load of cash.

I agree with the above statement. Listen, bottom line is this a gig where you really have to take matters in to your own hand.

Please elaborate on what that entails. Listening.....

How about trying to keep it between the lines?

It entails being ready for hands-on training, willing to work nights and weekends and not freaking out when things get messy. A good Stroke Specialist anticipates sticky situations.

In my experience, it’s all about employing the proper technique and implementing the right amount of friction with the customer.
