Is this true? How many were laid off? Why the layoff?

Yes, it's true. They have lost faith in that division and supposed to be rolling it into the GI bag, but the GI folks don't want to deal with it either.

Why has there been so much turnover in this division? I've received several calls for openings and it looks like there are openings everywhere. Did they reorg or something? Or just having trouble competing with the robotics? The comp looked a little on the low side but I am still curious.

    Cool tech. 10-15 years ago....

Has been surpassed by Monarch and Intuitive's offerings.

True story. Poor leadership/ inability to adapt to the changing landscape of competition means that they are now losing more than winning. They don't realize the robots are destroying the business they created. They tried to develop upgrades but the market is going robotic, leaving them in 2007. Good job now for reps who don't want to work very hard and are good at playing pretend.

superD is to be thanked for two things: creating this space, and for deciding not to evolve so we can take all of their business away. Really amazing how they essentially stopped coming out with improvements after 2009.
