Im interviewing for the surgical sales division and with my experience being told I could qualify for a senior sales position. Could someone please help out...is this a good division? How are the products, quota realistic, pipeline, management, culture, etc. thanks for the feedback.

Hate to be negative like so many on this board but unless you desperate I would look elsewhere. Very micro-managed atmosphere with poor products and pipeline. Competing against Ethicon/Covidien for most of the products you'll lose based on contract positions and at the end of the day surgeons really don't care about the products.

Percuvance Percuvance Percuvance!!! Thanks for the quota reduction. Solid move by management.

I love Teleflex and haven't been happier! The surgical division is growing and there is no competition with Ethicon in my market. Not all products are on contract, but those percutaneous devices are unlike any other and the doctors are excited about making laparoscopic surgery even less invasive!

WOW! Lay off the sugar free kool-aid! You sound like a trolling manager as you conveniently failed to mention the division is struggling and Percutaneous as a whole is at what, 50% to plan on the year? Reps aren't making money here and can see an implosion on the horizon. But hey, thanks for the tag line. Keep shining up that turd.

I also just completed a phone interview. It was for Associate Medical Device Specialist, Vascular. I'm coming from pharma, so I don't really know what to expect. Could someone be kind enough to tell me what kind of starting salary, bonus averages, and hours outside of 8-5 I'd need to be available for this position? Thank you!

If you're asking about hours outside of 8-5 again. Do yourself a favor and stay in pharma. Good luck.

Anyone seeing Symmetry clips in their region? They’ve been knocking on doors and just flipped one of my biggest accounts. With the lifeblood of the division in Hemolok how will we survive? We need to beef up our bag or we are screwed! PCV and minilap can’t save us.

Symmetry is hiring a dedicated sales force just for lap and ligation. Best lock down your clip business.

This is, by far, the worst company in the industry. I've never seen a company that cares less about it's employees. If you need a job, I would take this job while I was looking. Other than that, I would stay clear.
