Taro Pharma buyout by Sun Pharma

Calling the people being bullied bullies? Is this reverse psychology?

 

Just keep very detailed notes (date, time. what is said, etc) for his bullying like I do.

 

Taro results are out. Looks like we did very well. What does this mean though? It looks like there is going to some form of major restructuring between Sun and Taro. I heard something happening at PDT.
If anyone has anything to share or any insights, please share. The financial Q will be ending next month and they may be planning some major changes.


Taro to Discontinue Promoting U.S. Branded Products

The Board of Directors approved the Company to discontinue the promotion of its U.S. Branded products effective March 31, 2019. This action is expected to have an immaterial impact on the net sales of the Company.

The Company cautions that the foregoing financial information is unaudited and could be subject to change.

What exactly is happening at the headquarters? What info was shared? Also, who will be promoting the branded generics that were managed by the Taro team?

 

Per the earnings announcement , ‘the board approved to stop promoting branded products effective March 31, 2019’

 

TMs and RSMs will most likely have to compete for positions. SUN Absorica sales team will probably get 90% preference. Taro sales team less than 10%. Taro second floor finance staff zero%. Taro loudmouth bully (and her lunch buffet following) from the second floor less than 0% chance.

 

You can not sell a product unless you promote it right? Plus Taro had an agreement with Sun, where Taro branded team was responsible for promoting Taro and Sun corticosteroids.

If Taro is not going to promote its own products
a. How will they sell?
b. Who will promote Sun's products?
c. What happens to the product portfolio? We stop making it as well ?

Are they selling the portfolio, what exactly are they doing. This is so dumb ass. They need to share more information.

 

One sales team to sell Absorica and topical steroids. Probably a few more territories to be added on the SUN side. Absorica will most likely be priority. Taro people do not need to know anything until there is something to know. Get your suit pressed for the interview.

 

If you do not have your resume and LinkedIn updated and some recruiters on speed dial you are a fool. The horrible pending system implementation alone should be a reason to exit.

 

No more free spring water. They are taking that away for filtered tap water.
Even worse, they are expecting the government to control drug pricing in a year or two.
Get out while you can!

You get what you pay for. Filtered tap water is much better that the free Indian spring water from the Gange River. You will live longer and grow stronger. Just make sure that they change the filter at least every 10 years.

 

Definate signs of restructuring. I wish they were more transparent about it and share what the plans are.
