"I reall do not think the purchasing company would want to get rid of the reps that have the relationships and experience" 1st thing to consider is YOU ARE DISPOSABLE. 2nd thing to consider is COMPANY THAT BUYS YOU WILL HAVE REPS WITH THOSE SAME RELATIONSHIPS AND EXPERIENCE YOU PROCLAIM. 3rd thing to consider is YOU'RE EXPENSIVE. Get that resume updated. Is it any wonder why this company is failing.

First thing a company will do is consolidate services. Get rid of Allos reps, upper management will protect themselves during the negotiating phase. YOU ARE DISPENSABLE. I would be actively looking as the above posting indicates. We all signed on to a venture capital company.

Thanks for validating that Allos reps are gone. You, however, are the lame person stating "we all signed on to a venture capital company". You failed to do your due diligence on the drug. You were living on a hope and a dream to cash out when big pharma rescued you. hahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is true. In this market, every company is keeping it skinny with reps. During acquisitions (if there is to be one with Allos) they need product most, and possibly a few headcount to backfill "non-performers". There are more VP's applying for manager postions and managers for rep positions than ever before. As for salaries, you are VERY expensive. Check out MedReps or Medzilla, total packages are $125 - 135K, guess where that puts the base? Companies have also become very specific in the experience their looking for, because they can. (That's how many people are out there.) Gone is the day of "Rep experience". If you don't have "cardiovascular sales" or "diabetes sales" experience they won't even look at your resume. Ride this ride for as long as you can, as bad as it may be, it's a job, and a very well paying one at that. You should be hoping you DON'T get sold as it likely will mean you are on the streets with thousands of others looking for work. This gig ain't THAT hard or THAT bad, be thankful.

"This gig ain't that hard or that bad" Really? The only thing that hasn't happened is an FDA investigation of off label sales, which if they were lost, who knows where sales would be.

Money isn't everything, and this gig really is that bad.

You are a moron who happened to trick the other moron's running this company to hire you, but in reality know you are not worth what you are being paid, and have no guts to try the marketplace to see if you could get hired. So PLEASE DON'T LECTURE US on your inadequacy.

The mentality of management to put fear into the sales organization by firing anyone who stood up to the obvious poor sales direction and strategy created a communist state in miniature. We know most of the senior leadership including the head of HR could not even identify leading cancer institutions let alone plan a strategy to sell to them.

The truth is we have a drug no one is interested in because there are better alternatives. We already have a "partnership" with our European ally. No one is going to save us, and if they did your severance package would be all the stamps you bought in advance, remaining printer paper, and your new tattoo (the boot print on your ass).

Very poor attempt at satire....or are your really serious. If so, you need a kick in the a$$ to remove your head.
