with decline sales and insurers paying pennies on the dollar, we're all trying to get a bigger slice of a smaller and smaller pie. there's no future here or any others like Seq, Progenity, Aroisa etc.

Uh - You couldn't be more wrong. NIPT is not the only product Natera offers and there is also more products in the pipeline in case the NIPT Low Risk reimbursements don't pick up. Also, consolidation of companies will begin to happen as early as 2017. But there will always be a place for labs in womens health.

it's a non-starter compadre. via buried deep in obamacare is yet another stipulation that says after the government allows private insurances to jack up rates 22% per year and drive most people into the single payer government run system they'll create a women only health lab. and, since it's government run ( like obamacare ) it can operate in the red indefinitely. collapsing private insurers and labs who need to make a profit. welcome to the new world! socialism rocks! just look at venezuela, former ussr, cuba, north korea, etc..

Lol at NIPT thinking they're "women's health". That's rich.

Do you run routine blood work?
    Pap Smears?
    Vaginitis testing?
Can you detect breast, cervical, or endometrial cancer?

Your biggest contribution to women's health is telling women the sex of their baby 9 weeks quicker than ultrasound. Congrats

This couldn't have been said any better. This test is simply so they can plan their gender reveal sooner. Nothing more, nothing less.
