This just in from Retired Major General Paul Eaton:

“The armed services should not be reduced to stagecraft to prop up Donald Trump’s image” or to “making a display of the military saluting him.” Eaton added, “Unfortunately, we do not have a commander in chief, right now, as much as we have a wannabe banana republic strong man.”

Real men, weapons and show of strength scare snowflakes. The Parade will happen in DC and wimps aren't gonna do anything about it.

Hell, Trump already scared 2 Million illegals off SNAP and food stamps. 1/20 of that $$ will cover parade costs. Already, the loon left is threatening to lay on the ground a block tanks.
Good luck with that.... SPLAT !

But wouldn't it be fun to see a naked hippie chick put a flower in the gun barrel of a tank?

Yeah for someone with the maturity of a 13 year old boy, I'm sure they would think it was fun.

Yep, DT and I have the same maturity level. The difference is, I did my porn star experience at a younger age when I wasn't married and didn't have to lie about it to my spouse..

I do remember it, the no bra and see thru blouse was in. I rear-ended a Merck company car once looking at the most beautiful set of knockers walking down Sunset Blvd in a see thru blouse. I was 24 and straight outta Kansas. Shit happens.

Summer of Love in 69 was the best.I saw Janis Joplin live at electric factory in Philly in late 68.
She was Incredibly stoned and drunk and still nailed it with driving vocals. Saw Albert King in Jersey in 81.
The Real blues pops. I've seen every concert of all the greats of rock. Stones, Zeppelin,Hendrix, Eagles, Aerosmith, Deep purple, Rush, Fleetwood Mac, Edgar Winter (and brother Johnny) , Yes, Frampton, Moody blues, Black Sabbath. Can't believe the amount of dope we did.

Good for you. I saw many of those too, had a friend who ended up in the 2nd version of Fleetwood Mac, still seeing lots of music. Loggins & Messina last weekend with after party passes, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band within the last year, Moody Blues a few years ago. Had an invitation to the Eagles upcoming in Phoenix but big open-air concerts are no longer my thing. Prefer clubs or cherried-out Art Nouveau theaters with perfect acoustics. Not much on the dope anymore - new stuff too strong, edibles are ridiculous. I miss the Lumbo gold and Panama Red. One or two hits of that and it's drop your tops ladies and turn up the music. These days it's music, wine and sixty-nine.

BTW, saw a lot of Dave Mason & Eric Clapton last few years too because they live in the area and some of our local sidemen jam with them. Eric is a hoot, here's a modern version of one his 1st hit that kills it. Remember when they said this music will never last? What was that? 50 years ago?

Music is still good, politics still suck.

Yes music is fun. Politics is hard work and often frustrating.

Time to grow up, buttercup.

You are truly the idiot boy. Never said not to enjoy life and I was talking about the responsibilities of citizenship.

You said, "Politics is hard work." Then you switched to the 'responsibilities of citizenship'?

The best Trump parade has already happened, and it ROCKS! Do a search on You Tube for "Trump during Fremont Solstice Parade" You won't be disappointed.
