You guys are screwed! You think the HD was bad? Now it's ALL of IT. Who are you going to call now?!? Funny how Andy can claim that "IT wasn't executing" but failed to realize execution comes from the top down!! Good call there Andy! It's called keep the lights on. Acelity will be sold within a years time, no company can IPO with a completely outsourced IT. I guess Andy never said 5% revenue increase had to come from new sales. Funny part, he's not done!! Finance, national call center and ARM you're next!! Get your resumes ready, it's Andys solution to the "employee satisfaction" question. Fire all the employees and outsource that to people that can't comprehend the various systems or speak to where you can understand what the hell they're saying.

Sadly, there are a lot of really good people, that have given Acelity many good years that will now be out of work. My heart goes out to all that are affected. Amazing what APAX has done to this company within the 6years they've owned us. Completely ran it into the ground with absolutely no consideration or care for the people that work there. SMH...

"We don't want to speak to an Indian help desk... " is the cry of the staff, so IT (those who are left) says don't worry we will get a new helpdesk... Guess what its still in India! lolz

Anybody has any question as to what andy is here to do check out his LinkedIn profile, 1 to 2 years he goes into a company and flips them. The question is who can survive the next 12-18 months, Finance? Advantage centre? pretty much everyone can be outsourced in one way or another.

Why doesn't Apax outsource senior leadership to India? Talk about big savings!

Acelity's systems are 20 year old legacy systems that are mostly documented by tribal knowledge. Offshoring IT to India will result in more problems and will hurt end user morale. The whole system is just like the Jenga game where Players take turns removing one block at a time from a tower constructed of 54 blocks. Each block removed is then placed on top of the tower, creating a progressively taller and more unstable structure. Indians played a significant role in the failed Global Transformation Program we had a few years ago. Will it be any different now that they will be fully supporting our systems? Can cultural differences, language differences, and 12 hour time difference be overcome?

Does not matter. Smith and Nephew relaunch will take 12 percent market share from KCI by year's end. Many IDN's ready to switch out.

Apparently you didn't notice that a third of the Executive Leadership Team is Indian.
