.the unknown factor here is the complete extermination of the jnj sales force, as we have in place the mirrored Quntiles half priced no 401-k, pension, company car, vacation, sick days, disability, boot on the ground.

True: half price, no pension, company car
False: 401k (nicely matched percentage available), would prefer never to have a company car again based on this reimbursement, every day is like driving for bonus and no income tax, vacation accrues quicker than yours (do you have to wait more than 24 months for 3 weeks?), unlimited sick days, short and long term disability.

Some of your points are valid but you're so far off on this little rant it does call into question everything else you've written. If you have questions about Q ask us.

 

There WILL be cut backs in the Pain sales force and probably AI/GI....say what you want, but the writing in on the wall.......why?

1. They are not back-filling current vacancies....ask your DM to confirm....100% truth

2. They look at the size and effectiveness of the sales force more often than you think (every couple months)

3. Rumor is they want only one rep per territory (AI/GI and Pain)

4. Ultram ER is only 200+ million in sales. They were banking on an increase of sales with large share of voice with expansion..... sales have been "flat as a pancake".....quoting the brand.

5. November 24th is the date the FDA will have a decision of tapendatol....if it is delayed look out

I am not stating these things to scare anyone.....just don't be an ostrich and keep your head in the sand. Things are tight everywhere and keep an eye on your future.
