Did anyone see the Theranos piece on the 60 Minutes show last night? It really makes you wonder how these labs hide their errors and how many incorrect results there are. Are these labs in cahoots with the pharmaceutical companies?
You obviously did not pay attention to the story. Theranos was marketing a technology that was never validated. The NY State requirements for validation were not adhered to in their protocols. Standard validation studies were being performed and not on their proprietary platforms. They manipulated validation based on standard laboratory testing and not their new technology.
