I saw a job listing for a Dermatology Sales Rep in the DFW area.
Can someone tell me if this is for Ranbaxy? Is it the Acne or Steroid side?

Steroid manager

 

Very ignorant comment about the reps and the rebate cards. The fact is the card was overly generous. However, the real problem is a lack of managed care coverage. The card was simply covering up the fact that in most markets across the country the MCO coverage is laughable. If the coverage was there then a 400 dollar card would be just fine. The business model should be coverage and then a good card to bring a co pay down to less than 50 bucks for a script. Blaming reps for the changes in the card is so ignorant it is not even funny. If you are right about the reps and the coverage was fine in most markets it would not affect you. If you are not making money talk to your manager and then have them talk to the new Managed care people. The final fact is that we have added all of these new managed care people and we still do not have coverage or new coverage at any major plans anywhere in the country. Not a card problem - Coverage problem period! The generous card masked the real problem.
