Posthumous damage recovery: Humble advice from the silenced:

"If while under the medical supervision of a healthcare provider and federally approved patient monitors, you should ever experience symptoms of neurological dysfunction, total blindness, impaired sense of everything, or suffer an inexplicably-premature condition of permanent breathlessness, be sure to have advised a next of kin to file wrongful death and loss of consortium claims on your behalf within two years. And not a minute more."

    Hypocrisy is easy to smell:
"Lawmakers must encourage innovation by strengthening patent protection rather than weakening it."
    Joe Kiani, CEO Masimo Corp

Oh? then why all the out-of-court settlements and sealed outcomes of patent infringement lawsuits brought against him by scores of innovative companies like Shaklee Corp, INR Diagnostics, Dominion Assets, Silkeen LLC.... and so many others? Dude, shut the fu*k up you hypocrite!!!

In the context of highly toxic environments like Masimo and DMV, Cause can be what comes around. For example.... like when employees are wrongfully bilked out of their rightful commissions and bonus money etc over & over by some greedy douchbag CEO.

Effect on the other hand is what then goes around, for example... when a CEO's disgruntled employee finally reciprocates in kind, wrong as that might be.

He taught me that hypocrisy is a wonderful tool until it blows up in your face.
"According to court documents, "Masimo had ordered its sales representatives to mislead doctors about the safety of their noninvasive hemoglobin devices. Exhaustive evidence provided by the claimants demonstrated that the SpHB technology at issue in the case, i.e. Masimo's Pronto & Pronto-7 devices, which non-invasively measure hemoglobin in the blood, is unreliable and inaccurate, does not meet the specifications the company claimed for the devices, and put patients at risk. Masimo executives, some of whom referred to the devices as 'pieces of crap,' insisted that sales reps continue to sell the devices 'no matter what, even if they catch on fire.'"

I'm grateful to Joe for teaching me how to avoid all accountability and legal obligation by simply leveraging these free, abundant "resources" to which we're all entitled: silence, denial, non-disclosure, the fifth amendment, secrecy, fear, confidentiality agreements, the right to any attorney, and lastly.....selective amnesia. "Masimo moves to strike incriminating evidence turned over to the Federal Government by whistleblowers to expose the company's unlawful conduct. The court denied the motion, permitting the relators to use the documents. Had Masimo's efforts to silence the whistleblowers, by compelling them to be complicit in potentially fraudulent activity, public policy would be jeopardized.
