My ? is regarding making the change from nutrition aka kibble sales to distro or vet pharma...I understand the comp structure is very different and all negativity aside what are the pros & cons of each market?

Vet Nutrition sales is very similar to vet pharma sales; same clients, same distribuors etc... The pharma pay for the top tier companies is usually higher than nutrition. Benefits, company car, vacation are similar. You'll encounter out of touch management with both.

If you're with Hill's or Purina, I wouldn't recommend the switch unless it was to the likes of Elanco, Zoetis, Merial, BI or Virbac. If you're with RC, go work at a temp agency until something becomes available.

    Distribution is another animal altogether.

Thank you! Is distribution a good thing or a bad thing? Thanks!

You definitely want to get out of RC. If you have not been already, eventually they will screw you. Very unethical and discriminatory. Blind leading the blind promoting double standards.
