There will be some layoffs after the BioReference acquisition settles in. Quest will keep the top Bio employees in favor of our bottom tier. Everyone knows that the terminations cant be exclusively on the Bio side. This has everyone on edge. Plus the lies and the secrecy make it difficult to work the problem. This will be a total cluster f—k if it isn’t handled better.

Quest could care less about keeping any of the employees. They will pretty much all be separated soon unless a specific manager steps in to protect them individually. Bio Reference was a big blood sucking (no pun intended) fly on their behind - now QD has made them disappear with their deep pockets and it will eventually be just a memory!

Morons, you think you can bring this thread into a doctors office and convince them to change to Quest.... because you are already buying BioReference?
    They don't use Quest because
    1. Moron reps
    2. Lack of caring
    3. Poor TAT
    4. Poor decision making
    5. Arrogance

I can go on and on.

Keep trying to feel good while posting your propaganda.
I laugh at your stupidity lol lol lol lol

This is 100% correct. If your worked at Quest in the past, don't expect a welcome back.

    “Somebody’s in trouble”

This thread is being misinterpreted. It was intended for the people who have been “spoken to”

The individuals who have been probably understand what this is referring too.

    At this point it’s rampant.

West and Midwest Bioreference are in trouble. Horrible teams - Quest is destroying them in these regions. Leadership/reps are 3rd rate in these areas and will be the first to go.

Normally I would say that all of BioReference is a third rate organization, but that’s giving them far too much credit. They can’t even compete with the dying local mom and pop labs. Everyone that works there has the permanent stench of failure on them. No one at Quest Diagnostics wants them around. They will be liquidated. The company deserves it and the employees deserve to be unemployed. When it happens, and that will be soon, no one will care.

You sound like someone that definitely has a finger on the pulse of the industry. Those are some hard truths. But 100% true nonetheless. Thanks for being honest and keepin it real.

Many have had the honor from what I am hearing. 3 separate people said they did, so I am sure that more have.

    Unrelated to Bio.

Spoken to about what? This is a farce. No one will touch Bio. Lots of shenanigans going on in that company.

The “shenanigans” are all on the Quest side! They planted operatives in BioReference and now they control the executive team. There mission was to wreck Bio from the inside to drive the value to a bargain basement price. We were a great company before Geoff and Cindy took a wrecking ball to it. All with their culture of teamwork and collaboration. Sure. They’ve been collaborating all right, The scale of this fraud is beyond comprehension, and their doing it right out in the open.
