Thoughts on the Three Stooges

It is tough to have a plan, or even come up with one when they have never sold vaccines. They sold tablets (or at least tried to).

 

This is hysterical!

With the exception of EZ, all the other DCOs have been in MV since at least 2005/2006. How long does one have to be in MV before they are no longer a "tablet" person?

This is exactly what is wrong with this place - everybody knows better than the next person. You get 10 Merck people in a room and you leave with 11 opinions. Lots of generals, but no soldiers.

 

When the DCO's stop trying to force the field to sell like tablet reps with call, reach, frequency or let's role play crap, then they will be considered vaccine folks. Fat chance that is ever going to happen.

 

They will always be "tablet" people because

1.They never sold vaccines.

2,They continue to try to sell vaccines like one would try to sell tablets.

3.Still minimal understanding of vaccine and vaccine sales dynamics (e.g. pediatricians).

4.Refer to numbers 1-3.

5. They still think role playing at meetings is a realistic scenario that happens in doctors's officers. Are you serious?

 

At least there is more food for us at meetings since the Witch left.

Overall food quality is down but that is a good trade. No, a great trade!

How funny is it that Dr. Julie Gerberding and Todd Nichols had the audacity to berate the vaccine salesforce on MVX for logging calls on unflagged customers in INSIGHT this week? Newsflash to pompous pricks, "THE FIELD HAD NO CLUE AND NEITHER DID YOU" until it was brought to your attention. They actually used angry voices and said they were disappointed with the field like they are children. FU! Now this dimwitted duo is trying to cover their behinds by saying the field should have known about it because it was in a bulletin. The field gets dozens of bulletins a month on top of the fire drills the DCO's dump on them. Where was the leadership to point out the problem in the first place?

Now Julie and Todd are pissed because they probably got slapped by Legal with this and now they are taking it out on the field. The flags in Insight are outdated and in some cases, wrong. So what are we to do? Not call on half of the customers in our call deck because they aren't flagged correctly, which the field has no control over? From Julie Gerberding all the way down to the DCO's, this group of magement is disorganized, reactive and absurd when it comes to running vaccines. They have not shown any clue of being competent or proactive as alleged leaders of this division which is why everyone is miserable here.

 

The offspring of the stooges continue to tear this divison down into the ground.

 

I have lost all respect for Dr. Julie Gerberding and Todd Nichols. They have been here less than two years and they have the audacity to talk down to the reps like children because of a stupid flagging issue that nobody new was a problem on mvx. FU JG and TN! Why don't you investigate what created the problem instead of blaing the salesforce.

We are basically primary care tablet reps now because the entire focus for the next few years is adult vaccines so GSK can just pick away at the pediatric business.

 

This is crazy! We should start a petition to separate the sales forces again. Sorry, but I can't manage the entire portfolio when everything is urgent - there are only so many hours in the day and access to customers is nearly impossible in the important PC offices.

This MSVCR concept probably worked fine in "fly over country" - the big dirt states - but in urban and suburban areas where most of the population live, we are stretched too thin calling on both pediatric, PC offices AND pharmacies! i'm sure this structure would be fine if the market was stable, with with the level of competition for our pediatric products and P23 and the growth they expect from Gardasil and Zostavax, i find it impossible to do this all as an MSVCR - i'd love to be a PC rep again.

 

Blaming others is always is easier than trying to find the guilty party especially when it is one of your own.

 

It was all staged for the violation of the corporate integrity agreement. They had to show the government that they are tough on violations in the field. What a joke.
