    Agreed. If you are not a manager, then you should not be working more than 40 hours per week with some exceptions. Most of the time, that indicates that your manager is not balancing the workload evenly within the department.

    Sometimes, employees who work over 40 hours per week is an indication that they are slow because of incompetence, but that is usually caught quickly* (*except at Taro).

    Then you have employees who want to pad their overtime, so they purposely drag out their work week past 40 hours. That's not good, either.

    Get a union job...become a garbage man. You are working at home clowns. Not enough time in the day to work a 40 hour week with all of the distractions.
