Ron did not land on this Worst CEO list because his late-stage Parkinson’s disease drug blew up. He’s not on the list because the Food and Drug Administration issued an embarrassing Refuse to File letter delaying the planned review of the company’s other Parkinson’s drug.

He’s not on the list for coming out on the losing side of a reckless legal gambit to extend the patent life of Acorda’s most important revenue-generating product. He’s not on the list for firing 20 percent of his workforce or for his “biotech rah rah” tweets or for his bloated salary.

He’s not even on the list because an activist investor is agitating for change at his troubled biotech.

Ron is on this list because, under his watch, all of these bad things happened at Acorda during 2017.

 

Well deserved! Even that asshat at KV who jacked up the price of Makena years ago wasn’t this incompetent.

It’s not about your feelings on someone’s intent, goodwill or hard work. It’s about results, outcomes and performance. Clearly you don’t understand the difference.

I would say an inability to deal with reality vs your “feelings” would dictate who might warrant a trip to the shrink.

I am still waiting to read about the "facts" that argue that Acorda, Acordans and Ron are not honest people doing their best to help patients.

The mistakes or some bad outcomes of trials are NOT proof nor indicative of dishonesty. Is just bad luck.

But perhaps you have some "inside" email or tape-recorded conversation that suggest Acorda is a dishonest organization at par with S.P.E.C.T.R.E. ...conspiring and colluding with Trump-Putin to make this world a hell-hole for all. Or maybe, you are listening to too much Alex Jones and Info-Wars.
