What happened? Was this expected or out of the blue?

This was more than expected and should have happened a long time ago. The swamp is almost completely drained now. Not sure what this all means now that we no longer "sell" opioids...but we may be one hell of a support organization in the near future. Bravo Purdue!

Lisa ran her out fast. She lasted a month. At collegium for a few years now.

Finally a decent move! Terrible leader, never present, and full of BS! Let's hope Landau can make progress, he has a ton of work to do.

Sacklers finally heard the chatter and kicked that worthless turd MT to the curb. What an epic moron! Guy was scrambling since day 1. Couldnt hire - or lead - or deliver - or manage. At least now we have someone that knows Purdue and is actually smart. Landau has his work cut out trying to fix the fucks that MT made. Let's see what drowning company he lands at and further sinks. Hope CL makes the meeting

She has been gone for a few years.

Calm down. Don't get too excited. None of them wanted a failed product launch nor another job cut strategy on their resumes. No doubt this latest launch will be the worst in recent years. New CEO. New round of layoffs. This is not a good sign.

    My thoughts are RUN!

This is true. The culture that Timney and Robinson created was rejected by the employees. The Sacklers had to bring back an "Old Purdue" guy to right the ship. The great news is no more of the culture BS, competency BS and all that crap she brought in. Craig will throw it out amid cheers from the entire company!

HR needs a major change as his first action.

    Hail Caesar!
Let's pause and think for a minute what do we get instead of MT:

    - Family and company insider with little outside experience
    - Very educated and apparently intelligent person
    - He got science major and that's different from business
    - He may have been groomed for this but he's not Old Purdue
This is as much as we know. There are too many "unknown unknowns" ;-)

We are yet to find out:
    - CEO is only as good as those who help him lead. and we need to find out if CL is a good judge of character because someone did pick LP... I know it wasn't him
    - What's his management philosophy: charts and numbers
    - Is he going to keep MK?
    - His pick for COO?

hope Timney reads this stuff and sees what this organization thought of him. From top to bottom floors, he was not respected or liked. Eyes rolled when he hit the elevator. Anyone he brought in should catch a boot in the ass on their way out.

    Start with firing Lisa.>
    Move to HR.>
Take a deep swing and then eliminate 60% of home office idiot holdovers & newly tenured sycophants, ( 4 years or less ),

    A good start.

Regardless of what MT did or did not do, it is NEVER a good sign when most leadership positions in a companu are vacant.

Correct. Look no further than the WH and over 1k position vacancies. The lack of situational awareness is real.
