I applied to a position for Stryker and received an email instructing me to take an On-Demand Video Interview. It consisted of 8 questions which were all video recorded. 2 of the question you were able to re-record until you were happy with your response. The other 6 were "Spontaneous Responses" which once your were done answering them you couldn't edit or view them. I feel like I didn't do well because of my nerves and felt uncomfortable video recording myself. Was wondering if anyone has experienced this and how long I can expect to wait to hear back from them.

They are looking for sports trophies in the background. Hang your blue ribbons up behind you and you can remain silent.

Seriously though, if you have any NCAA trophy/title your hired. Stryker loves athletes, as they believe that surgeons can't get enough of them.

This ^^^. Had a new Stryker rep come into my territory, told me he played football for Ohio state, blah blah blah. My territory manager played baseball at Ohio state and asked him a few questions etc. Turns out this clown tried out for the team and that's it. Practice squad photo and a participation medal it will get you hired.

I shot two amateur porns and once Stryker got a load of my manhood they hired me immediately. I don't show Docs the vid but I have my support people show them so I seem humble. I'm literally a hospital celebrity now.

I've never worked for Stryker and never would, for all the BS they do that others have mentioned plus the fact they treat their employees like dirt and are an inferior company who tries to monopolize their $hit products to hospitals by bundling different divisions for the cheapest price and crappiest services. But I've worked and am working for Fortune 500 medical device company.

Look elsewhere, Stryker is not where you want to be
