She is clueless. Give her 15 - 18 months. Spend the money on the technology not another VP and more overhead to tell us what we already know

Kiss up technology is only one that matters. Make money while the sun shines.

She will be gone in 15 - 18 months, back to Deloitte (her former employer) after outsourcing SI&A contracts to them. A lot of you will also be gone, just ask MZ and EF. Next year is not the Year of the Field now that Paul Hudson is gone.

She is setting herself up for future success after Novartis. We talk about integrity well it's obvious that Bharty has her own agenda and I am sure there is conflict of interest somewhere. We don't need more executive from the outside telling us to fix the plumbing. You are all full of SHIT!

Maybe her new hires from Silicon Valley gave her the timeline...

“Personally, I don’t want to hire someone who has done nothing but traditional sales ops for the past 20 years,” admits Rai. “I’d rather get different people from analytics or perhaps Silicon Valley. Start-ups are also a great place to go if you’re looking to attract new talent. We need to learn from other industries rather than looking only at pharma talent.”

Bharti farti - good looks, youth, sexy everything going for her. Why else was she hired? Useless person. They will not even hire real Indians but these fake ones.

Barfi, Vas, Ameet and all current leaders have turned NVS into BS. Clueless. This company became what it was due to sheer hard work and great products. Now it is all a dog and pony show. Kick out the hard working, old, ugly, knowledgeable and replace them with models who have meaningless rants. Talkers are welcome but what they talk does not matter. All they have to do is talk and they don’t have to make any sense.

Meanwhile Novartis stock is at all time high approaching 105$ (incl. ex-Alcon for like to like comparison).

Funny how the investors are not reading CafePharma

Investors will not read or care about this forum. Money matters NOTHING else. Some day they will back off but only when there are no returns or huge fines. Investors do not care what works and what does not. They do not care about people. They do not care who lives and how long. Return on their investment is all that matters. And it is not funny. Most have no clue about the disease or the drugs.

Novartis does read this forum. Most of the information is true. Sometimes there is just speculation on here or rants.

I can understand looking for progressive thinkers however, Novartis is still 2 decades behind and Basel tries to run the US market and have no clue what they are doing.

By the time Fabrice figures out Bharty is not the right fit, it will be too late and she would have moved on. She must have been an excellent sales person.

They should have hired Anish Shindore from Sanofi based on the article.

Rai, makes no sense when she speaks and she is a VP. WTF. She is giving herself 2-3 years to turn things around. Reality check, 15 months is more like it and then she will get the boot!!

There is only one way to turn this company around and that is to FIRE every RM and ABL and start the culture over w/ a new and one that has the idea of a good culture.. Keeping even ONE RM and ABL will just promote lip service again, rinse and repeat as usual. Firing all the RMs and ABL will never happen though.

Irony is, even after these many dissatisfied employees across functions, she still could manage to be in this position. Hail Novartis HR, Legal and top management to hire her and silicon valley and now closing ears, eyes and common sense to do nothing but ruin careers.

I had to chuckle that Exton was unaware of what a shit show the PRISM rollout has been.
