I am newly covering VA ond DoD. Are there any training sessions that are available?

Did you lie in your interview and say you had experience with the military/gov sales? This should teach these new DM's that sex is not the only requirement for getting the sales. Get someone that knows what they are doing but I guess you can't get past the age and size 2 and hunks!

That is a question for your training department.
What company do you work for? Didnt they offer to train you for these responsiblities?

I have been working with state medicaids for the past 10 years and my company decided they wanted me to handle DoD and VA. No training...the person who had done it previously quit. If someone new had asked me to help them figure out one of the state medicaids, I would be willing to help. I didn't expect rude comments like that.

Everything is centralized for both DoD and VA. DoD formulary is in TX and VA NAC is in IL. Research the PEC for the DoD and NAC for the VA from a top down strategy. Break it down from there.

Good luck and shame on your company for throwing you under the bus!
