Trump signed 4 executive orders to slash insulin prices, allow importation of drugs from Canada and around the world. Also, will eliminate the huge discounts to the PBM’s ! The best one is that Medicare will pay no more than the lowest price found in the world for any particular drug !!!!!!!!

Now they will claim fall lay-off is due to Trump pricing controls. Don’t naively think this will not have a big impact.

I and my family will definitely order our drugs from Canada or wherever I can get the best prices! Just think of the savings people will realize by import their drugs outside the U.S! If the script is filled in Canada for Rexulti, will we get credit for it? I seriously doubt it. Our profits are likely to drop as well. This is the most significant move by any President to slash the cost of drugs in America!

Yea good luck with that from a safety standpoint! Think back to the blood pressure generic issues with cancer. What a stupid comment. Why don’t you value your families safety over cost.

i seriously doubt anyone will be ordering generics from Canada, but you can bet your ass they will brand name drugs, and from any other country in the world that has a better price! You get the exact same brand drug from Germany, maybe with a slight change in the look of the box, but for substantially less. All of our brand name drugs with the exception of possibly Vyepti, will become dirt cheap. And if you want Medicare to cover Rexulti, Lundbeck will have to sell it for the lowest price that it is sold elsewhere in the world to Medicare. This has got to have a negative effect on profits. It may even create a bid type situation. For instance, Latuda may cut their prices elsewhere in order to get the atypical business from Medicare.

I don’t think anyone really knows how all of this will effect the bottom line, but the American consumer should save money. This should definitely have a negative effect on the number of reps needed. Lowest of the low prices gets the business.

Northera has been generic in Europe for over thirty years. There’s a pharmacy in Japan that sells it for like $30.

Trump only cares about the Trump Organization and re-election. Laughable that people think he cares anything about this country.

You’re the stupid one who takes every opportunity to turn things into a dems vs reps conversation.
I’m smart enough to not argue with stupid people like you. You win lol.

I agree, the Democrats are the worst racists in U.S. history!

You ignorant stupid ass. Only Democrats in former confederate states were racists (now they are all Republicans). Democrats outside of former confederate states voted for civil/voting rights statutes at higher rates than Republicans. Republicans inside former confederate stated voted for civil/voting rights statutes at lower rates than Democrats.

Learn to research and know a little history instead of listening to right wing dumbasses who just want to manipulate their idiotic followers and you wont sound like a bigger dumbass than they are. .

But, but, but, but...what about black on black crime! That justifies keeping all confederate flags.

Surely you aren’t voting for Biden then. And if you’ve researched like you claim to, I don’t even have to tell you why he’s not for black lives. And if he is your pick, you’re an uneducated hypocrite that likes to point fingers and call republicans racist, but then turn a blind eye to the racism that the left is responsible for. And you therefore have no room to call anyone else a dumbass

Here you go dumbass who is too lazy to use Google (it is a site that helps you find information): Were Republicans really the party of civil rights in the 1960s? | Harry J Enten Since you are probably too lazy to read the whole thing you need to scroll down a little for the exact information I spoke of.

Knowing things doesn't make you a socialist by the way. You probably don't even know what a socialist is. You just heard another dumbass say it is bad so you shit in your pants every time you hear it. Google it and begin your education so I don't have to embarrass you again.

Well, here comes the government mandating the cheapest price companies sell a drug for to be given to Medicare in the U.S.! So, say we sell Abilify M. For 50% less to China, and that’s the lowest price we sell it for to any country in the world, that’s the price we give Medicare in the U.S.! Good for Trump! We can no longer screw Americans by overcharging them and asking other countries to pay less! This is a big win for the American consumer!

How will this affect profits in the U.S.? I can only guess that they will definitely go down! Got to run cut the grass before my very important virtual lunch with an office manager! What a joke.

How can Lundbeck compete with their me-toos in the face of Trump’s executive order? The government is our biggest buyer! This has to have a major impact on the bottom line when it goes into effect. Just more pressure on the company.
