Just get over your separation with the company; some leave on their own, some are asked to leave, some stay because there is no where else to go and some stay because they believe in what PTI does...just get over the negativity! So you werent right for PTI or PTI wasnt for you; So PTI treated you poorly our you treates them poorly; So you are better off with your new company or miss PTI's comp package! No matter what, just worry about our next or current venture and stop being such a nuisance to all of us here. We are trying to make a living and make a difference, anfd though you have been tarnished or have limited belief in leadership or our products, leave the decision making on whats is important to us; TO US.

The funny thing about sales reps, some of them think they know more about patient care, than the doctors know.

Obviously, if Gyn Oncs are sending specs, they see value for their patients. It's a pretty simple concept, that many ex-reps cannot wrap their little pea brains around. How could the company possibly continue on without them on the payroll?????

All anyone on here ever wants to talk about is that pti is "unethical" or how much they hate the nature of the business or their hatred of a few people here, many of whom have either been let go or have left. SeriouslY? Thats where you get you're satisfaction?

Here are the facts:
-PTI has made mistakes
-Other Companies have made mistakes
-PTI tried to sell Chemofx in many tumor types
-PTI was successful in selling to many tumor types
-Medicare paid PTI for Chemofx across all tumor types and has approved payment for Chemofx in gyn moving forward
-Medicare paid and still does pay PTI for Biospecifx
-Medoncs didnt like that we didnt sell Chemofx to them
-We should have sold Chemofx to medoncs
-Some physicians used our test because of the relationships
-Some physicians didnt use our test and used others because of relationships
-Some physicians believe whole heartedly in our test
-Some physicians use the test and are skeptacle
-Some physicians dont use our test
-The company has made some turns in the right direction; new sales force, lower compensations, selling directly to gynoncs and medoncs, launching new products, etc.
-The company isnt perfect, nor is the company you work for now.

Here is the other reality:
-Companies pay reps to sell their products (Often times that is through relationships; hence the term relationship selling; hate to break it to you but whoever you work for now would want you to do the same thing)
-Former employees who are on this board talking poorly sure didnt have a MORAl, ETHICAL, or SCIENTIFIC dilemma with cashing your paychecks or bonus checks for years! Oh and now that you were let go, you want to make it seem as if you are 'holier than thou. Get the hell over yourselves. If you ahve such a problem prove it you asses and send all of your commission checks back, but keep your base pay from those years.

All I am saying here is that you all should try and do something positive with your time and remain informed about your own realities and own companies. Your PTI life is over which in what I have read on this board should be a good thing for you. And, this is a good thing for those of us that are here.

Just move on and let us build a company that WE can be proud of and does good things. You do the same where you are and stop being such trivial people who are so very insecure you still come on a message board to gossip.

Sean didn't have the guts to address the company before or after the 2012 layoffs. Spineless leader.

 

Guess you werent on board after the layoff then; he went out to each region and had dinners with all the teams and spoke personally to each member of the sales force. Get off the board sinc eyou are so full of shit.

And, its not his responsibility to kiss your ass before a layoff. How many other CEO's do that? Novartis do that? Covidien do that? Ethicon do that? Nope...you get a call from HR reading a script.
