It is a shame that these reps can not compete on the basis of Lab & Pathology Merit. I've heard many accounts say they Lie and use scare tactics to TRY and regain share. What a shame. Actually, shame on you DermPath Reps!!!

The bottom line is....look through the sales reps and see the incompetent and unproductive managers and directors that lead them astray. You have to remember, they are now taking their lead from the worst of them all, Quest Diagnostics!

Recently, Scott Schlauder, M.D. just left because of all the illegal revenue models he was requested to do. M.M., MD is such a weasel, and will do ANYTHING for a buck.

So not only the reps are unethical, but the doctors too? I guess you got your glasses fixed. LOL. Their big scams will be discovered sooner than later.

You did not read the message. The doctor left because he did not want to do the illegal scheme. Good for that doctor!
Ethics are extremely important. Do any of you have any? What will we do now that we cannot give out free EMRs for labwork? We cannot fee split either because the major fee code 88305 TC got slashed 52%. How is the lab going to make a profit if we cannot give away a portion of the profit to get labwork? What a sticky situation we are in now. Really do the dermpath labs even need reps now? and what about the shutting of the TC grandfather clause? There is lost revenue there too. I bet alot of us reps are going to lose our jobs. Why do they need so many reps fighting over dermpath accounts when the big dermatology groups are all building in-house labs. The handwriting is on the wall for dermpath reps.....there is going to be alot of us reps fired in the next six months. Mark my words especially by the big black dog. Brace yourselves.

Shame on all you unethical sales and even pathologists and boards of directors for laboratories. Bunch of sleazy tactics like giving out monies for meaningful use or giving out EMRs to get accounts or fee splitting your butts off for decades. And your sleazy TC/PC this and that. And your labs sleazy pull-through schemes with the Medicare. Building in-house labs and giving away whole computer systems to get the reads. Illegal, illegal and should be illegal. You should be ashamed of yourselves. Did you ever once stop to think how it harms the patient and it defrauds the insurance companies? How do you sleep at night? What scare tactics are you doing now? Threatening to take back your lousy computer and information systems if they don't send the labwork over. Encouraging the doctors to do unnecessary testing perhaps. What a bunch of sleaze bags! Anyone who is reading this and knows what the heck I am talking about needs to really think if they want to stay in this industry with all this crap going on. I dare you to speak up and say something. No I am not talking about whistleblowing. I am talking about asking the question, "why are you making me do this when I know it is wrong?" They are asking you to corrupt the clinical doctors. Don't do it. You have a free will. You have a choice.

No, not at all. Good point, my response should've been worded better.
