Very true. The comment towards Michigan isn’t realistic. Some people are doing very well in Michigan I’m sure. Some people aren’t doing so well in Michigan. It’s like that across the country like you said.

C means you don’t get stock and can’t get promoted. There are good salespeople with good sales results receiving Cs. Hmmm...wonder why retention is an issue?

‘haha, the popularity ratings go out today. Too bad they don’t have anything to do with actual performance or work ethic. Maybe it was better under patient first when it was based on you did on a test...or how well you cheated?

‘yeah, that was a little harsh. But is it true she is manipulative and mainly cares about herself. That rah rah crap is a front. Her judge of talent is also way off.

Very true. It’s hard to do your work if you don’t care about where you rank and take no pride in it. If it’s only a check then there’s no way a person will do more than the bare minimum. In fact, they will even do less and it does eventually show up in your numbers OR a smart FLL will notice you’re not doing the work when they ride with you. You will get busted eventually.

The VBU is about to be a Shit show. Competition will cripple the pediatric and adolescent business.

not if our contracting team can finally put together a contract that incentivizes customers to stay!!

hopeful the contracting team has a solution up their sleeve. customer decision criteria more than price, new competitive pediatric and MCV-4 vaccines certainly have advantage clinically and organizationally.
Time will tell if we will win or loss and I'm in for the long haul, so hopefully there are plans already formulated so we don't get caught with our pants down.

Contracting won't be enough to compensate for our poor pipeline. Even with strong contracts holding on to business, the public side is going to fall hard and fast. Not sure how much we can change this.

Don’t worry the next generation selling skills and C2Ws will save us!

There is no plan other than to wait until the new competitive vaccines hit us up the side of our heads. Public, pediatric accounts and systems with any pediatric business will be lost to the competition. Hard to say what our structure will look like in a year or two, certainly will not be what it is now.
Shingrix alone will not prevent the division from drastic structure changes. As far as new vaccines, what is coming are not anchors to the business.
Our competition is always one step ahead of us.

Shingrix sales will fall off a cliff this year. Retail Can’t administer COVID vaccines and Shingrix.

Which of course will be reflected in your C2W reports, for failing to demonstrate next generation selling skills.

isn't that the truth shingrix reps will get the blame, you can't sell or create a need.
I loved it when we knew retail was not vaccinating so we were all tasked with growing sales in our medical group 200% 3rd quarter 2020.
I love realistic expectations. Anything less in that situation would have made sense and GSK never makes sense.
Good luck everyone, the shit is getting ready to fly.

There will be no more job posting for most vaccines sales roles. check it out, there are none. reason is that gsk wants to minimize packages to reps. do it thru attrition- a lot cheaper. CEO says no more broad scale reductions that result in packages and cost gsk money other than at manufacturing or R&D sites.. If you are new to vaccines or in training, good luck, u might not finish training. you'll get a 3 month payout even if you don't take a step in the field.
Everyone else, if you receive a C rating for 2020, good luck- writing on the wall. For the rest, it's going to get real interesting. And in house staff drives the business.
