Our pipeline isn't promising and competitive threats on the horizon. For those in the VBU- I know many of you are good people and great reps. Please don't wait until it's too late, apply now!

Ped reps- Pediarix market share will take after Vaxelis launch. With it will go many jobs because the rest of our portfolio isn't strong enough outside of Menb.

Adults: needless to say, there will be a point soon when this many reps aren't needed to promote shingrix. They'll keep some but most will go. Remaining will sell hepatitis and tdap as usual.

    Good luck to all!

Yes, less field reps and more inside reps will drive the business in 2020. Too much admin costs for bloated field who are losing access daily. Pay an inside rep half the pay and get double reach and effective selling

Wow! Drinking early today? Inside selling...effective?? Why didn’t they think of that 30 years ago? Oh wait they did.....it’s never going to happen!

They won't replace the field but they'll be able to drastically reduce the field. The reality is most of what reps do can me managed over the phone completed with a face to face it interaction every so often.

The vaccines inside sales team actually does a decent job on certain products. Again, I'm not inferring they are as impactful as field sales, as they aren't. They do however come at a small fraction of the cost. No car, no fuel, no phone. Insurance, expenses etc.

You are wrong on multiple issues, especially your comment regarding “most of what reps do can be managed over the phone”!! This job is not all transactional and order taking. However, if people in power have your mindset, then GSK is out of touch and will pay the price eventually.
