Hartz ethical is still in business.

    You'll never guess what happened...
Vectra 3d is on the Internet...so much for Vets only

    Check out http://www.entirelypets.com/

    And search for Vectra.

There must be atleast one Veternarian who bought Vectra3d. Hartz must of finally got a closed sale.

No Vectra, but lots of Advantage, Advantix, Frontline.

Guess the Summit non-diversion contract works! Too bad for you....

Yep, there is no Vectra on that site. I guess the first poster on this thread was incorrect or misinformed.

So in essence you are saying they haven't closed a sale yet, then, right? LOL! Check Wal-Mart and PetsMart, it'll be there in awhile.

Nope, what I'm saying is that the Summit non diversion commitment works. You can only get Vectra from your veterinarian. It is not sold on the website someone posted previously.

Only reason it would not be on the internet is because nobody wants the shit. I got an order returned yesterday they said had sat on the shelf and not moved, but were ready to reorder from me already. It doesn't do anything new or better. Copy cats are not the new rage, sorry.

Nice smoke & mirrors attempt by Summiy for trying to prevent diverting. Summit even admitted themselves in a PR Newsrelease (http://sev.prnewswire.com/biotechnology/20080204/NYM12104022008-1.html ) there were 2 instances of diversion on Feb. 4th in Arizona and California. They found out who 1 was but the other they were "still aggressively investigating." Their lovely Bloodhound technology is only good in tracking from manufacturer to the vet clinic. How do they track beyond it? Throw resources into monitoring the internet, the black market, and then chase down the product? And if or once they get ahold of it, are they going to throw the money into enforcing those anti-diversion contracts? Were there is a will there is a market. They will be throwing money into a black hole trying to stop free enterprise from finding a way..especially if their is a demand for their product which is still too early to tell. Anyone remember the game whack-a-mole? Good luck in stopping this product from being diverted.
Sumitomo owns this company (and Hartz) and last I checked they like getting a return on their investment...connect the dots and you will see how this is a nice game of smoke & mirrors to make you think it will stay exclusively in the vet channel.

Summit bought back the product, easy to do when you have one or two diverters. They paid the listed price. So what happens when 100 or 1,000 vets divert this product, how will summit react? Think about that.

What actually happens to a veterinarian found guilty of diverting product? Do they just get cut off?

Found guilty??? These are EPA products. Nothing would happen other than you could not buy Vectra until they really need the sales.....

If they divert Vectra, they are guilty of not honoring a contract they signed and would be guilty of not honoring their word.

When you sign a contract you are giving your word to uphold that contract. If you don't agree with the contract, don't sign it. If you sign a contract agreeing to something and then don't honor it, it is no different than lying. Then your word is not worth anything. The diverters who signed the contract not to divert....their word is not worth anything. Think about it. You are responsible for your own actions.

Just did. Sorry "No matches found". Another diverter shut down. I guess they do give a damn about veterinarians.

Having a hard time understanding why you think Hartz has anything to do with Vectra 3D. VECTRA WAS DEVELOPED BY SUMMIT VET PHARM. They are both owned by a large Japanese company but that is the only familiararity between the two. Summit has no relation to hartz whatsoever
