Of course that's what he wants, a buyout and he can live on easy street. But Pfizer will take a lot of the employees with them. Pfizer sales reps now are bunch of losers. Your reps are trained right and do a good job. Take it form me I worked for Parke-Davis (Warner-Lambert) and launched Lipitor. I was at the meeting when my regional mgr. said Pfizer would be co-promoting. I said we did not need them. The rest is history. They can't come up with any new drug so they buy the co's...Wyeth, Searle, Upjohn, Warner-Lambert, and others.
Are more of us growing uneasy with the Pfizer co-promote? Pfizer may be a big name in pharmaceuticals but it doesn’t mean they are well thought of in the industry by customers or industry insiders. Pfizer many times destroys more companies than it creates with their heavy handed marketing and grinder detailing approach. Not good IMO.
