Santa Claus is coming to town, yeah, Santa Claus is coming to town. He's got the list and checking it twice. Although Disetronic Medical Systems has changed their name to Roche Insulin Delivery Systems, you can't hide from the FDA and there is NO new Accu-Chek Spirit Combo Insulin Pump System available for your customers who began going out of warranty in October of this year. We've decided to help all of the people in the land to get rid of their old 2003 technology and poor customer service that everyone in the diabetes community loathes. Santa's list? It's precise, it has exactly 1,005 names, addresses, doctor and insurance info on it. It's the 2006 DSR final report. 2007 will be even brighter with more deliveries from the North Pole - about 4,000 pumps! Santa's elves are working very hard to contact all in time for a special delivery from the North Pole that will make everyone's Christmas and future bright!

So if there's no new pump, how is it an "upgrade"? If it's not a new pump or has anything different, it's just a replacement pump. Really pathetic if that's all they're doing. I feel very sorry for the poor sales reps who have to try and push this crap, and even sorrier for the patients stuck with this.

Typical Roche Dx; poor products, lack of innovation, leadership, and direction. People w diabetes steer clear...

The financial importance is that the company is now losing its entire current customer database over the next year - it will have no pumps left to upgrade when their new pump (if and when) ever comes out, which upgrades was the only source of appreciable revenue that kept them afloat last time. Time for Roche to spin off the pump side, sell it, do whatever, financial doom is in progress. Admit defeat, it was a mistake to buy this pathetic company. The patients get the best deal, their 2003 old technology junk piece can be "upgraded" to another company's two piece "smart" pump with wireless communication.

Tick tock, tick tock. It has now been 2 years since Disetronic (aka Roche Insulin Pump Delivery Systems) laid off half of their sales force. These fine folks are now NO LONGER BOUND BY A 2 YEAR CONFIDENTIALITY AGREEMENT, it has officially expired. The gloves are off, and the upgrade sales from the old technology Spirit pump to your new technology competitors are now in place legally !!! Let's watch the revenue to your company flush down the toilet very quickly......I guess the Swiss cheese and Men in Black didn't plan for the retaliation, did they.

Are there any reps left selling the pumps at DUSA? I thought everyone else had gotten laid off or was going to get laid off. Isn't this piece getting sold to someone else or something?
