Are all the Quest Cyto and Histo volumes down? Is it because of the newer Pap recommendations or are the accounts being lost?

Any truth to the rumors that that they are also counting negative Imaged 1-22 fov only as .4?
If so, was that a Quest corporate suggestion, or was that Quest listening to the Hologic Rep and being convinced that it was right?

You should post that on the lab thread. These people here are in sales and they get irritated with lab posts. I hope you can save cytology.

Nobody from the lab goes there #1, and nobody in the lab ever knows anything #2.
I figured at least Sales Reps hear what is happening and are on the front line.

The only thing that will save cytology for a while will be the elimination of the Imager, and other automated screeners. It is a dying field everywhere because of automation.
Hate to say it but women would have to start dying because of Imager misses for it to even be considered - and they would probably just lower the workload limits a little.
    Sad state.

DSAnononymous, are you working every message board on the internet to try to find labs violating CLIA or what?

He/she is too afraid to go anywhere else, so spins his/her wheels on these types of forums. Really should get a life.

Well you figured wrong, as usual. Sales reps dont give a crap about your little Imager woes.
