What is the difference between surgical sales and strategic sales positions?

I see both strategic and surgical sales positions listed on the website but the job descriptions sound the same. What's the difference?

 

Surgical rep sells all the different product lines, while the Strategic Reps overlap and help in closing the more technical OR sell products in the bigger accounts. Strategic rep is considered one level above a surgical rep.

 

Strategic sales reps, travel a ton. My friend works as a Strategic Sales Manager and hates it, Teleflex acquired LMA and he had no choice but to take the job. Beats being out of work. Stay away from Teleflex, they are cheap and cut throat.
