This is March news. Laying off admins is the initial phase of the main event to come. The cost savings is small cause the salary of 9 admins equal the compensation of one VP. The impact is small. Big announcement in April.

 

Amylin can become profitable immediately if being a virtual company. Why not? Why should we keep >1300 employees? So I'd like to cut a half of the work force and believe the company will run just fine. Let me if you like the idea...

 

To reach profitability, keep 100 "efficient" FTEs, relocate and reduce to 2 buildings (HQ, Ohio), and pay off heavy debt. Most projects are outsourced so having 100 managers would be plenty.

 

3 haircuts since the new year. Another will be executed in days.
