They stated there would manufacturer ahead of approval, and have multi million vials/ 100 million...,
What happened to this statement ?

I was wondering that too. We're manufacturing at risk to save humanity! Why aren't heads rolling?

All talk and nothing to show for it. Do not say you will manufacture ahead of approval and not follow through. All talk, No Show.

“There is a slowness to J&J getting stuff done,” said a person familiar with the process. “They are slow to address some of this stuff. No one thinks they move fast.”

    Never were truer words stated.

Agree, dumbfounded that there's no explanation or accountability for us falling way behind on our promises. Seems like we outsourced the work and exercised no oversight?
If I had a nickel for every time I've seen that at JnJ.

accountability is the antithesis of jnj culture. most of the time if you really screw up you can move up. jnj is a joke right now. all style. No substance.

They were SUPPOSED to manufacture before approval. That was the whole point of taking the Warp Speed money up front. Pfizer, however, did everything on their own dime and accepted contracts contingent on approval. Somebody is going to get fired. Or worse.

Yes, someone will be fired. It should be the Gorsk. But, we all know it won’t be.

The NY Times article today says that we did produce a huge number of vaccines, nearly 15 million of them in Baltimore. According to the article thanks to human error they will all be scrapped. The jnj quality department fails again. How can that many messed up vaccines be produced before a problem is caught?

The article explains why there was a delay in the release. Better to have caught it before release.

Hah! Emergent Biosolutions strikes again! Is that hopeless clown Ed Arcuri still there? That would explain the fukup. Is J&J not capable of due diligence?
