We should all sit one floor. Tear down the walls and save energy. It is costing more to maintain the building. Why don't we rent a small building in a nicer place on Poplar and shut this mess ? May be our days are numbered here.

Left this place recently. Enjoying the life with my office mates and new job.
Trust me! Solitary confinement is better than working at that dump.

I worked for a Third party packaging company that repackaged product for Merck as a Sr QA Specialist. As soon as heard about Bayer buying Merck, i knew that I was going to eventually be laid off. I left that company and i started working for Microsoft, even though i wanted to go to Consumer Healthcare Industry. After a year, i got a job for another Pharma/Consumer Healthcare company.

Only hundred or so left. Many R&D / Supply Chain employees either left or moved to NJ. Entire IT was dismantled. R&D IT still there and getting paid for doing nothing. Many of them just come late and leave early. Its a ghost town in the scary location with no value added people. Some of us have back up plans and ready to bite the bullet.

Nada. Bayer has deep pockets to carry the crap at the Jackson ave. What a waste of resources? In research we got something going to act busy. All the wimps in the sixth floor and clowns at third floor have nothing to do anything.

    Something wicked this way comes.

Jolly 'O Johhny O returns to Jackson Avenue this week with a HR goon in tow.

It's official Memphis site is getting closed. I am glad for the past two years I have been collecting my check for doing nothing. I am ok with my free check but I feel awful for collecting free money. Never understood why these Europeans took so long to shut this place?
Great part is I 've got a job lined up. As soon as I get my severance I will jump the ship. No grudge against the Bayer. Good luck with your job hunting.
