I sent my separation agreement via Priority Mail, Merck received it January 4th. When should I get paid? It's a decent chunk of change.

Good question, I didn't see it in my separation agreement.

it says in the sep agreement that you will be paid during the pay cycle after your agreement is received. READ IT!

It's not in the separation agreement, it's in the FAQ section of the packet.

When will I receive my Severance Pay & Pay in Lieu of AIP?

Generally, once you sign & return the Separation Letter and the revocation period, if applicable, has expired your Severance Pay will be paid to you as soon as administratively feasible in the next available scheduled payroll. If you are entitled to a Payment in Lieu of AIP, that will also be paid at this time. See the Brochure provided to you or contact the Support Center for more information.

    Whatever "administratively feasible" means.

Was there a WARN notice for the most recent cut in December? That would effect when the big check comes.

Has anyone else received the letter stating that the 7 day cooling off period was a ‘mistake’ and that it’s actually a 14 day cooling off period?

I got one stating my check would be processed in June in order for Merck to fund Fraziers lakeside vacation estate remodel. For my inconvenience they are adding interest to my check, a whopping .0001%.

I stepped away from the mothership in 2013. Like everything else it took some adjustment but I feel good about it! Too many games, watching people claim the market share change was all due to their activity blah blah blah, etc. Be happy and move forward.

I got paid today. I start my new job (with a considerable raise) on Monday.

No hard feelings, Merck paid the bills for a long time.

You got your check but pay increase. I do not think so. What pay at Merck? What pay at new bogus company?
