They kept the newbie manager in WI.

They only kept inexperienced managers that will follow orders and not think for themselves. Not being mean; just stating the obvious.

a lot of good mgs and reps were cut. This is gonna be a tough go for the novartis reps that take over. For some Areas this Is the second rep the offices have lost. How can you trust a new rep with the thought of getting another new rep in 6 months in the back of your mind.

This is just stupid. It’s not brain surgery! It’s dry eye. Docs don’t care. You can send in a clown. Like a literal clown, to do that job. Stop kidding yourselves. The Shire reps taken from B+L were way overpaid for that job and it made perfect sense to get rid of them all. It’s not a coincidence that those retained were either Shire legacy, Novartis legacy or from other companies such as Alcon. Their base salaries were far less than those from Bausch. Smart move Novartis.

Youre right, its dry eye. Thats why this was a relationship sale. Those overpaid B&L reps were in those offices as long as 10-15 years. Try rebuilding that relationship. Should be easy

Retired after 40 years in pharma. Unfortunately, relationships are not as important as you would like to believe. I've launched many products in markets that were new. Both to pcp and specialist. Personal drive succeeds over relationship. Access and coverage trumps relationships. Also, your employer believes one rep is as.good as another if they follow.messaging and frequency. As a consequence, your value.to a.company as an individual is marginal. The sooner you realize this and put your goals first, the more successful and happy ☺ you will be.

Let it go-move on. No person or company owes you anything. Time for all of you to grow up

Anyone finding any openings in eye care? Im digging around on Linkedin. Saw a couple people go to Kala? A guy from PRN contacted me saying they will offer an ISR like, heavy commission deal for any former xiidra reps until we find something permanent or they decide to bring us on full time. Sounds intriguing if legit
