It isn’t illegal for your docs to have a cash Ora to e. All states are different. They just cannot charge cash for a patient that has an insurance plan that they doctor accepts/credentialed for. Pt can also opt not to use their insurance and pay cash (like they don’t want spouse to know so they want to pay cash). They just have to sign a waiver

 

I’m fairly new here, but based on my short time , I see this as the norm. Meaning dr only takes cash even though patient has insurance. Even ha a dr tell me it’s more about $ , they aren’t getting better & don’t want to. Is this really illegal? Just seems shady. A certain dr charges 300 cash visit, plus urine screen etc... at least once monthly . No wonder why our product doesn’t move !

Previous poster here. I’m appalled at this company , disease state etc... does sublocade work only marginal from what my dr say. You add up how har it is to get etc... plus many patients pay cash etc.. & most of all the dr approach to this disease & them getting paid sickens me ! Everything on here is more than true , mgt. has no clue & no answers other than they just aren’t sold / blame it on rep. Hell I can’t even get a straight answer from any mgt about strategy , payouts etc... glad I’m out of here soon.
