Is it confirmed that Weck is gone? Last day? We will wait to actually confirm he is gone before celebrating

Weck's so-called "retirement" is just the tip of the spear. Swanson was told by Gorsky directly to "blow-up" all of the IT orgs and to outsource all IT functions. His number one goal is to reduce the IT footprint and to accelerate migration to the cloud.

So, all what JS said in his trips, about talents, etc. is just bs?

JS is a man of his work, so NO, his regard for talent is not BS. That is why Weck was forced in to early retirement and other legacy Veeps will be let go

They tried to fire Weck 10 yrs ago when Laverne was CIO, but he used the protected veteran card. Fast forward 10 years and that defense no longer held water since the complaints against him were a huge liability for JS. Swanson had no choice but to cut him loose!

It's relieving to know that tool bag Weck is finally on the way out. I heard he has until June, but will most likely leave in April. Good riddance to bad rubbish!

It's time for Jimmy Boy to start bringing in his cronies from outside J&J. What's taken him so long?

In case you don't remember: Dell, CVS, Medco, etc.....

A trained seal could replace Weck. He literally did nothing to drive innovation.

I worked in Weck's org from 2007 and was part of the 2012 layoffs in consumer. Awesome to learn that clown show was finally sacked!

What about CDB and his CFI (Continuous Failure Improvements) team and the useless MW and MM ? When will they be gone?

both Carl and Maureen are jokes in those roles. They know nothing about what they are supposed to be doing. Neither can make decisions but are great at blaming their staffs for anything that reflects poorly on them. This is what happens when leadership attempts to boast diversity stats by putting unqualified people in these visible roles. Everyone becomes the laughing stock of the organization.

truer words have never been spoken! What is so incredibly sad is that everyone is aware of what a joke those two are but mgt is more concerned about diversity stats at those high levels. What they are missing is how unproductive this makes the entire organization and the really dysfunctional culture this has created.

Ahh the racist roaches emerge from the trash

obviously from someone who hasn’t worked with either of them. Race has nothing to do with that statement. Totally agree with the general consensus here, neither have the technical or leadership skills for those roles and it is demoralizing to others who could do an excellent job in those positions but unfortunately would not impact those diversity statistics.
